My personal branding photography session with KJ Nasrul of Bliss Begins Within, a coach who is also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, felt like I was working with a family member. We’re both kind and nurturing, so it was truly an honor and a joy for me to work with her.
I’m so excited to be sharing the images from our shoot! As two empathic Asian women, we were able to connect over so many things, both personally and professionally. I often find that with my clients I’m able to build a relationship through our values and our abilities to connect with others.
Personal Branding Portrait Session | San Francisco, CA
We completed our personal branding session together in the Richmond District and Baker Beach in San Francisco, CA. We took a variety of shots that were agreed upon during our planning meetings that occurred virtually over Zoom. With every client, I collaborate with them on a shot list where we intentionally plan out certain images in order to make sure that the marketing content and materials for the website and social are met.
KJ hired me to help take new website and branding photos for her upcoming program launch. I checked back in with her a few months after working together to get some updates on how our work impacted her business.
How has working with Angelina changed your business?
My brand is easily identifiable and accessible now. It's becoming familiar. People are able to recognize the warmth and the colors of my photos as MINE, because Angelina captured the essence of my voice and brand so perfectly. People have told me that they recognize and know ME now, better because of the photos that Angelina took.
What positive growth aspects or transformations have you seen after working with Angelina?
People have been so complimentary and I have felt more comfortable in my messaging as well as in my own skin since my photoshoot with Angelina. People who have known me my whole life tell me how these pictures perfectly encapsulate my spirit and my soul. Before stepping into the beauty of a golden light photoshoot with Angelina... I would not have referred to myself as beautiful. Now... I am embracing and accepting that I am one definition of beauty.
What has professional images done for you and your business?
Engagement on my social media and with my following has increased exponentially. I have a number of new client inquiries and speaking event invitations. I have brought on several new clients... I can confidently send over headshots and bio pictures to accompany my podcast guesting spots as well as my speaking gigs. I would like to work again with Angelina on my next projects.
